Lacrosse season is almost here, and teams across the country are getting ready to get back on the field. Collegiate lax season is already underway, with all teams starting to practice, and even a few have already kicked off their season.

When the NCAA released their preseason rankings, it had reigning champion, Duke, at number one, with a total of 374 points. The runner-ups, Syracuse, ranked second, with a total of 346 points. North Carolina follows in third, tallying 337 points, and rounding out the top 5 are Denver, and Notre Dame. These rankings will change and fluctuate numerous times throughout the season with new teams entering the top 25, and others being voted out.

In the 2nd quarter the Blue Devils picked up the pace to close the gap. The Blue Devils maintained this momentum throughout the game, and eventually outlasted the Syracuse Orange with a final score of 16-10
