If you're familiar with lacrosse, you already know that the game is growing by leaps and bounds, and that participation numbers in the United States are increasing year after year. This additional interest in the sport has made it a viable one at the collegiate level, as more and more Division I schools are adding the program to their respective athletic departments. For instance, as of 2014, there were 67 Division I college lacrosse programs - and that's not even considering the 57 Division II programs and 216 Division III programs.
